1耶和華啊，你是我的神；我要尊崇你，我要稱讚你的名。因為你以忠信誠實行過奇妙的，
成就你古時所定的。
2你使城變為亂堆，使堅固城變為荒場，使外邦人宮殿的城不再為城，永遠不再建造。
3所以，剛強的民必榮耀你；強暴之國的城必敬畏你。
4因為當強暴人催逼人的時候，如同暴風直吹牆壁，你就作貧窮人的保障，作困乏人急難中的保障，作躲暴風之處，作避炎熱的陰涼。
5你要壓制外邦人的喧嘩，好像乾燥地的熱氣下落；禁止強暴人的凱歌，好像熱氣被雲影消化。

還記不記得當強烈颱風來襲時，一陣驚人的狂風暴雨後，風雨皆止的那種寧靜？對以色列人而言，投靠上帝的感覺就如同享受寧靜安穩，甚至，還如同炎夏中的冰淇淋，令受太陽炎烤的人，身心暫得舒暢。

以賽亞書五章1～5節是一首頌讚的詩歌，若這首詩歌是向著一群生活無風無浪的會眾高唱，這首詩歌就會令人感到索然無味。這首讚歌之所以能讓人感覺投靠上帝就如同享受風雨中的寧靜安穩，是因為這是以色列人處於社會的翻騰、混亂、墮落、失望、處處身陷危機的時期的結晶。他們在極度不安的處境裡，宣認與上主一對一的信任關係，高唱對上主的期待，頓時為他們枯乾焦燥的生命帶來寧靜。不過，這些以色列人當時所經歷的時空背景，我們必須從廿四章開始讀起，從經文中可看出當時以色列人崩潰的社會的荒涼、慘澹的景況，「逃過恐怖的人會跌入陷阱；爬出陷阱的人會被羅網套住。……世界因罪而墮落，崩潰，破碎，永遠不能再站起來。」

先知的讚歌歌頌上帝的大能（1節）、權柄（2節）、崇高與仁慈（3 ～5節），在經歷天崩地裂的社會風暴令人無力逃脫時，憑藉著對上帝的信任，以色列人找到了風雨中的寧靜，以色列人已無須等候風暴過去，在風暴中，上主的能力已經在絕處活現出來，也使得這首詩歌不只是一首被吟唱的歌，而是信心的宣告，是黑暗中的一道明光，強烈的穩定人心。

默想：
沉重的工作、人際關係的困境、經濟的風暴、悲觀的未來……，你是否已完全將自己置於上帝手中，並已得著風雨中的寧靜？

祈禱：
上主啊，在這世上除祢以外，再無別神可以救我們脫離這處處充滿陷阱和詭詐的世界，願祢常在我們的敵人面前為我們擺設筵席，雖處風雨之中仍能自在安穩。奉主的名，阿們。

13. 讚美的力量

經文：《詩篇 5:3》
耶和華阿，求祢在清晨聽我的聲音；我要一早向你陳明，並且迫切等候。

詩人大衛等候了一段很長的時間，神才兌現承諾使他作王。在那段等候的歲月裡，大衛也常常東躲西藏，因為掃羅王要追趕尋索他的命。但大衛即使在等候中也沒有離棄他對神的信心，反而更為進深。在等候期間的某一刻，大衛發出如此讚美，他說：「我要一早向你陳明，並且迫切等候。」(詩篇 5:3，新譯本)。「迫切等候」這個片語表達了充滿信心的盼望，這並不代表大衛口是心非。在詩篇第五篇稍前的部分，大衛嗟嘆着求主留心聽並顧念他的歎息(詩篇 5:1，新譯本)。然而，在他傾心吐意之後，他轉而專注讚美神是會回應的。當他一讚美，聖靈就以充滿信心的盼望來堅固他的心。那就是讚美的超凡力量。

當你等候神回應你的禱告時，請遵循這個模式。熱切坦誠地向神傾心吐意，然後轉而專注於讚美神。祂會回應的，因為祂應許會回應，作為那位聖潔的神，祂總是會信守承諾。當你持續地讚美神，就算感到祂是沉默時仍是如此，聖靈就會以充滿信心的盼望來堅固你的心。

默想：
 你的生命中何處正在等候突破？讚美神的品格可以怎樣在等候中堅固你的盼望？

祈禱：
神啊！我讚美祢因祢善良和聖潔。祢是永遠信守諾言的神。感謝祢，因祢已應許我，若我祈求，祢會回應(馬太福音 7:7)。我讚美祢，因祢素來聽我的聲音，也因為我可以相信祢會信守祢一切應許(詩篇5：3，哥林多後書 1：20)。感謝祢，因為當我今天讚美祢，祢就會使我的心充滿信心的盼望。
